Bio
Sarah Beveridge was born in a small city in South Korea. Her passion for art stemmed from wanting to control a part of her life and to create a world of her own. She first started off with her wedding dress doodles at the age of 4, which turned into a love for art. Practice time for her was always her favorite part when it came to most things because without practice there is no appreciation and perfecting for a craft.
This led to a Master’s of Fine Arts degree in painting at the Academy of Art University in 2014. In 2009 while studying for her BA degree, she received the Preston Arts, Best Two Dimensional Piece for painting during the Bellarmine University’s Annual Student Show. She has shown at McGrath Gallery in Louisville, Kentucky, Academy of Art University Gallery and The Cannery in San Francisco, California and has participated in some group shows for art events for people to be exposed to different kinds of art.
An overall love for creativity, she likes to explore different mediums and forms to express herself such as painting, drawing, dance, culinary, etc. Currently Sarah is focusing on random inspirations of everyday life in order to better understand herself as an artist and person. She would love for you to come along for the journey!
At the moment she resides in Chicago, Illinois with her cat Shadow.
