Sarah Beveridge
Bio

Sarah Beveridge was born in a small city in South Korea in 1988. Her passion for art stemmed from wanting to control a part of her life and to create a world of her own. She was not able to pursue ballet at a young age; therefore she decided to paint the studio life of ballerinas. Practice time for her was always her favorite part when it came to most things because without practice there is no appreciation and perfecting for a craft. This led to a Master’s of Fine Arts degree in painting at the Academy of Art University in 2014. In 2009 while studying for her ungraduate degree in art, she received the Preston Arts, Best Two Dimensional Piece for painting during the Bellarmine University’s Annual Student Show. She has shown at McGrath Gallery in Louisville, Kentucky, Academy of Art University Gallery in San Francisco, California and has participated in some group shows for art events for people to be exposed to different kinds of art.
